The Week Vaping Was En Vogue

Frank Up For Four!

This week, four Frank campaigns were shortlisted for the PRCA National Awards.

Campaigns for Green Flag, ŠKODA, Photobox and MyVoucherCodes are up for gongs at the awards ceremony which takes place in November.

Vype x House of Holland at LFW

London Fashion Week is the height of London trendiness, and this week Frank client, Vype, proved that it really is the coolest vaping brand out there by launching its ePen 3 at LFW.

Vype teamed up with leading fashion designer Henry Holland to collaborate on his House of Holland show at London Fashion Week.  With a collection featuring bold, bright and beautiful colours, Vype’s branding was included on stand-out white lanyard and spotted on supermodel Winnie Harlow.

Following the show, Vype sponsored the House of Holland after-party, welcoming guests such as Laura Whitmore and Nicola Roberts, with performances from Nadia Rose, DJ sets from Nick Grimshaw, all of whom were papped with the capsule collection or in front of Vype branding. These images were then spotted on key nationals including the Mail Online, as well as the lead image on Vogue’s collection round up!

I Can’t Belieb It

Biebs has had a busy week. Not only did he (potentially) tie the knot with Hailey Baldwin, he took to the streets of London to perform for unsuspecting fans / picture agencies who had definitely not been called in advance.

The 24-year old singer performed songs from his 2016 album Purpose. Which, we’re not ashamed to admit, is a great album. So, it worked Justin – we’re thinking about you again!

Weather Warnings Get The AR Treatment

Extreme weather is now becoming the norm across the world, we’ve even seen it here it the UK! After one of our hottest summers, quickly followed by Storm Ali hitting us hard, there are now major flood warnings in place on the USA’s East Coast as a result of Hurricane Florence.

The Weather Channel was quick to inform its viewers of the potential dangers a flood can bring, by putting together an incredible augmented reality clip to showcase the dangers behind the data.

Viewers have applauded presenter Erika Navarro’s performance during the segment, with some calling for her to be awarded an Emmy! The tech behind the segment helped to raise awareness around the seriousness of the situation, and goes to show how impactful engaging content can be.

In other news, Trump described Hurricane Florence as “one of the wettest from the standpoint of water.” Someone give that man a Nobel Prize.
